Ethel C. Laroux, 87, of Zwolle passed away on December 28th at Grace Home. Services are December 31st at 1pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. She is survived by sons: Charles Laroux and wife Marcille and William Laroux and wife Patsy; daughters: Barbara Meshell and husband Clayton and Sue L. Remedies and husband Ronnie; sister, Elvie Procell; brother, Lee Sepulvado; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchilren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers are : William Sepulvado, Eric Laroux, Lester Procell, Joe Sepulvado, Ronnie Sepulvado, Alvin Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers: Charles Laroux Jr., Larry Laroux, Anthony Sepulvado, Thomas Sepulvado, Robert Crooks, and Pat Leone.

The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department reported two arrests over the last 24 hours:
Belinda Fondren, white female, 41, was arrested on charges of bench warrant by Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department. She remains in jail.
Natalie M. Parker, white female, 36, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent and possession of drug paraphenalia by New Llano Police Department. She remains in jail.

Bobby Campbell, white male, 22, was arrested on charges of theft $300 by Many Police Department. He remains in jail.
Michael Alexander, black male, 27, was arrested on charges of bench warrant city of Many by Many Police Department. He bonded.
Albert Kimbrough, black male, 24, was arrested on charges of bench warrant Sabine Parish by Zwolle Police Department. He remains in jail.
There are currently 127 inmates being housed at the Sabine Parish Detention Center.

Daniel W. Sepulvado, white male, 25, was arrested on charges of Sabine Parish bench warrants by Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Department. He bonded.
Holzey Ray Jones Lynch, black male, 53, was arrested on charges of Sabine Parish bench warrants by Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Department. He remains in jail.
There are currently 128 inmates being housed at the Sabine Parish Detention Center.

Zapata O. Wilson, black male, 32, was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace by Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department. He bonded.
Joel S. Gregory, black male, 26, was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, improper supervision, and possession of drug paraphenalia by Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department. He remains in jail.
Jamie N. Gregory, white female, 26, was arrested on charges of possession of schedule IV, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphenalia, possession of marijuana, and improper supervision by Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department. She remains in jail.
Jerry W. Phillips, white male, 49, was arrested on charges of improper telephone communications violation of protective order and resisting arrest by Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department. He remains in jail.
Crystal Bowers Eaves, white female, 19, was arrested on charges of interference with state police by Louisiana State Police. She remains in jail.
Christopher L. Scott, white male, 25, was arrested on charges of DWI 2nd, careless operation, and driving under suspension by Louisiana State Police. He remains in jail.
Brad William, white male, 27, was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace by Rosepine Police Department. He remains in jail.
James M. Coleman, white male, 45, was arrested on charges of DWI 1st and failure to signal turn by Louisiana State Police. He bonded.

Ruby Viola Manasco, 85, passed away on December 27th at Many Health Care North. Services are December 30th at 1pm at Fort Jessup Cemetery with burial to follow. She is survived by sister, Dora Mae Colston and sister-in-law, Rita Mae Manasco; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Khalilah D. Bolden, black female, 29, was arrested on charges of bench warrant by Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Department. She bonded.
Gwendolyn C. McCormic Kilpatrick, white female, 25, was arrested on charges of DWI first offense, general speed law, open container by Louisiana State Police. She bonded.
Tempra Jean Funguy, white female, 21, was arrested on charges of bench warrant by Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Department. She remains in jail.
David Lee Garner Jr., black male, 23, was arrested on charges of driving under suspension, no insurance, failure to signal by Many Police Department. He bonded.
Kenneth McDaniel, black male, 54, was arrested on charges of DWI first offense and improper turn by Many Police Department. He bonded.
There are currently 129 inmates being housed at the Sabine Parish Detention Center.
