Funeral Services for Clara Mae Morrow, 81, of Many, LA, will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM at First Methodist Church Of Many in Many, LA with Rev. Francis Hooten officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Many, LA. Visitaiton will begin on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 5:30 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, LA.

Clara Mae Morrow was born on Wednesday, July 30, 1930 in Harmon, LA. She passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many,LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. Hicks and Myra Sue Hicks and brother, James (Bud) Hicks.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howard “Dutch” Morrow of Many, LA; sister, Lois Gerlach of Alexandria, LA; daughter, Virginia (Ginger) DeWinne and husband David of Spring Branch, TX; son, Kenneth Paul Morrow and wife Karin Morrow-Blattner of Tyler, TX; grandchildren, Lancer Smith, Amanda Aguilar, Stacey Powers, Maggie Morrow and Phillip Morrow; twelve great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Clara loved all children. She taught elementary school, and most of her career she taught “special needs children”. She taught most of her career in Texas in Texas City, Austin and Beaumont. Upon retirement she and her husband moved back to Louisiana and settled on the banks of Toledo Bend, near Many.

She was also an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Many and enjoyed participating in the United Methodist Women.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations would be sent to the First United Methodist Church in Many Memorial Fund.

We express our appreciation to the staff of the Sabine Retirement and Rehabilitation Center for all of their help and comfort these past few months.

Funeral Services for Louis Ray Craig, 69, of Converse, LA will be held at 2pm on February 20 at Midway Baptist Church with burial to follow at Shiloh Cemetary in Converse LA. Craig passed away on February 17. He is survived by wife: Marjorie Craig, son: Kevin Craig and wife Danette, daughter: Kristy Spillyards and husband Hugh, sister: Elaine Penry and husband Jerry, brother: Gene Craig and wife Lena, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-granchildren. Roseneath Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.
