Mr. John Hicks Cook Jr., 80, passed away. Services will be September 11 at 10am at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Many with burial to follow at Little Flock Cemetery in Florien. Mr. Cook is survived by sons: Chris Cook , James Cook, and Tim Cook; daughter, Jonni Chance. Arrangments are being handled by Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

Joseph Bernis Sepulvado, 58 of Noble, Louisiana died on Sunday, September 5, 2010, at Sabine Medical Center in Many, Louisiana.
He was born Tuesday, April 15, 1952 in Ebarb, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Gracie Sepulvado and special nehpew, Donald Paddie.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Parrie Sepulvado of Noble, LA; daughters, Peggy Woodall and husband Scott of Watson, LA and Becky Jackson and husband Bobby of Noble, LA.; brothers, Julius Sepulvado and wife Emma of Ebarb, LA and Benny Ray Sepulvado and wife Frances of Zwolle, LA.; sister, Mildred Paddie and special friend Huey Malmay, Sr. of Zwolle, LA.; grandchildren, Samantha Sepulvado, Calvin Sepulvado and Zack Woodall; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at St Anns Catholic Church with the Father Joe Martina and Father Kenneth Williams officiating. Interment will be in St. Anns Catholic Cemetery, Ebarb, LA.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2010, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Zwolle, Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be Walter “Tootsie Roll” Meshell, Jr., Gary Sepulvado, Clint Paddie, Matt Sepulvado, Kenny Remedies, David Sepulvado and Griffin Sepulvado. Honorary Pallbearers will be Smokey Valley Hunting Club members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E.P. and Luvina “Lucy” Ross Ritter; son, Edwin Teal, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Teal of Many, LA,; son, Greg Teal of Dallas, TX.; daughter, Donna Holley and husband Patrick of Lufkin, TX.; brother, E.P. Ritter, Jr. of Ponchatoula, LA.; step granddaughter, Tanya Holley; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2010 at First Baptist Church Of Many with the Rev. Bill Hines officiating. Interment will be in Many Cemetery, Many, LA.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, Louisiana.

Geraldine Estelle Davis Early, 78 went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday August 23, 2010 at her home in Belmont, Louisiana.
She was born on Friday, September 4, 1931 in Belmont, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Early; parents, Lige and Edna Davis; brother, Jimmy Davis and nephew, Tim Ledford.
She is survived by 2 sons, Tommy Early and wife Thelma of Belmont, LA; and Gerald Early, Sr. and wife Lillie of Belmont, LA; 2 daughters, Wanda Zeigler and husband Terry of Crossett, AR and Marilyn Irvine and husband James of Glenmora, LA; 1 sister, Glenda Sue Newcomer and husband Jesse of Shreveport, LA; 3 sister in laws, Sylvia Early of Pleasant Hill, LA; Marie Early of Shreveport, LA and Betty Davis also of Shreveport, LA; 13 grand children; 23 great grand children along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Union Baptist Church in Belmont, LA on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 5:00 PM.

Ruel Dewain Lewing, 78, of Many passed away on July 29th at Grace Home in Shreveport. Mr. Lewing is survived by his wife, Bea Monk Lewing; daughters: Christi Courtney and Melissa Brougham; sons: Ruel “Bud” Lewing II and James Lewing; two step-daughters: Sharon Scott and Cheryl Menou; step-son, Greg Monk; sister, Gayle King; brother, Melton Lewing; five grand children; seven step-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Graveside services will be at 10am on August 5th at Lewing Chapel Cemetery in Many. Arrangments are being handled by Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held for the late Mrs. Mildren Love at Macedonia Baptist Church of Zwolle, LA on August 7th at 11am. A public visitation will be held at the church from 9am until time of service. Burial will follow at the church’s cemetery. Services are under direction of Winnfield Funeral Home of Natchitoches.
