Mary Glenice Paddie was born on Friday, January 21, 1927 in Noble, LA. She passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Desoto Regional Hospital in Mansfield,LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dora Manshack Paddie.
She is survived by her daughter, Erma Ebarb, Zwolle, LA.; son, Allen Ebarb and wife Christell, Noble, LA.; sisters, Catherine Hammon and husband Franklin, Noble, LA. and Lula Ebarb and husband O.V., Ebarb, LA.; grandson, Jason Ebarb and wife Angie; great grandson, Matthew Ebarb; along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Jimbo was born on Sunday, May 20, 1951 in Many, LA. He passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches,LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Daniel Leslie and Wilma Lucille Chandler Leslie and one brother, Billy Leslie.
Jimbo was a dedicated member and active choir member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Marthaville, LA. He was retired from the Department of Corrections where he was the Prisoner Enterprise Director. He was also a graduate of McNeese State University where he was an active alumni and he was also a member of the McNeese rodeo team.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Leslie of Marthaville, LA; one son, James “Jake” Leslie of New York, NY; one brother, Dan Leslie and wife Madeline of Negreet, LA; five neices, Jessica Partida and husband Sergio; Lindsay Dahlem and husband Nathan; Kasey Cain; Michelle Sandifer and husband Rob and Laura Leggett and husband Buster; four nephews, Matthew Leslie and wife Jennifer; Terry Kilgore and wife Amy; Mark Kilgore and wife Julie and Ron Byles and wife Lacy; mother-in-law, Gertie Kilgore; mother of his child and dear friend Vicki Leslie and Joe Isgitt; Jim’s little “sweet hearts”, Jennifer Leslie and Kasey Cain along with a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Dickie McBride, Jim Anderson, Joe Isgitt, Matt Leslie, Shane Mitchell, Randall “Chub” Hayes, Stanley “Tater” Smith, Jimmy Cruze, Troy Jackson, G.W. Birdwell and Nathan Dahlem.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Many at 11am with burial to follow at the Many Cemetary. Wright passed away on December 26, 2011. Douglas Gordy 68 of Leesville, LA., went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2011.
He was born in Leesville, LA. on March 28, 1943, to Frank and Camille Nelson Gordy.
Mr. Gordy was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish and a member of South Park Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish and just being in the great outdoors. He was a person who loved to just sit and visit with all, no one was a stranger. He will be missed by those who knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents: Frank Gordy and Camille Nelson Gordy,
Brothers-in-law: Ray Bennett and Jesse “Sonny” Price.
He is survived by his loving wife Martha A. Gordy of Leesville, LA.; daughter: Helen C. Gordy; sisters: Virginia Bennett of Leesville, LA., Marjorie Price - Sparlin and husband Robert of Slagle, LA., Carolyn Beebe and husband Barry of Lena, LA., Linda Powell and husband Herbert of Richmond, KY.; niece and best friend Michelle Price Mitchell and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 26, 2011 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville, LA. Service will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Hicks Pentecostal Church, Hicks, LA. Rev. Lorraine Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow in Hicks Cemetery in Hicks, LA. under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, LA.

Charles Crooks was born on June 25, 1934 in Zwolle, LA. He served in the U.S. Army and lived most of his life in Houston, TX. He passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Sabine Medical Center in Many, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elva and Walter Crooks and 3 brothers, Ray, Harold and Freddie Crooks.
He is survived by 4 sisters, Cleo Ezernack, Ella Garcie and husband Herman, Joyce Dew and Linda J. Crooks; 2 brothers, Louis Crooks and Robert Crooks and wife Linda along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Charles retired from the Greyhound Buslines. He was a member of the Choctaw Apache Tribe and enjoyed participating at Pow Wows.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
